Day 5, Paris: Notre Dame Cathedral.

One of J's must-sees was the Notre Dame Cathedral. It was one of mine too, until I sat atop the Rouge Bus freezing and hungry, which resulted in a grumpy gal. Oh, and I had to go to the restroom, which is never easy in Europe. Bathrooms are something you have to search for sometimes, and then, when you find them, you usually have to pay to use them. (Which is good, most of the time, as they are kept cleaner.) After finding a restroom, I was up to entering the cathedral. And, after entering, there isn't much else you can do but be amazed at how beautiful it is. J took some of these photos, because of my mood at the time. Honestly, I don't know which are his and which are mine, but he says he doesn't mind that I take the credit. ;)

Afterward, we fixed the hunger problem by grabbing a Croque Monsieur and of course, frites. Yum. The little cafe was called Le Quasimodo Notre Dame. :) And, the last picture makes sense now, yeah?
